Using the Feedback Tool to Review Designs

The Feedback Tool is the most effective way to review and request revisions on your graphic, video, or PDF designs. It allows you to comment directly on specific parts of the design, improving clarity, reducing revision rounds, and speeding up turnaround times.

Why Use the Feedback Tool?

  • Precise and targeted feedback: Markup directly on the part of the design that needs revision, and add comments and directions.

  • Fewer revision rounds: Clearer instructions mean fewer misunderstandings.

  • Faster turnaround: Feedback is organized and easier for the design team to process.

  • Transparent progress tracking: Designers can mark each comment as “Resolved” once completed, so you always know what has been addressed.

Supported File Types

You can use the Feedback Tool on the following file types:

  • Images (JPG, PNG, etc.)

  • GIFs

  • Video files (MP4, MOV, etc.)

  • PDF documents

How to Access the Feedback Tool?

  1. Open the design file directly from the chat.

  2. Click the “Feedback” button located at the top right corner of the file preview.

  3. Begin adding comments directly to the design.

Adding Comments by File Type

Images

  • Click anywhere on the image where a change is needed.

  • A comment box will appear so you can type your revision request. you can also upload files with your comment.

  • Selecting a specific area helps the team understand exactly what to adjust.

GIFs and Videos

  • Play the video and pause at the frame you want to comment on.

  • Click on the video to leave a comment tied to that exact timestamp.

  • This helps the design team know what scene or motion needs editing.

PDF Files

  • Scroll through each page of the document.

  • Click on specific areas to leave your comments.

  • Once comments are added, you can quickly navigate between the comments and the pages by clicking the comment previews on the side panel.

What Happens After You Submit Feedback

  • Each comment you leave acts as an individual revision request.

  • The Design Lead will help process and review your comments, and schedule the revision with the designer based on the complexity of the revisions needed.

  • The Designer will then go through each item and mark it as “Resolved” once the change has been made.

  • Once a comment has been marked as Resolved, the design file will be locked for further annotations. To add more comments for revision, you can simply send a message on the Chat and tag the Designer and Design Lead to keep them informed of your request.

  • When the revised designs are ready, a new batch of revised designs will be uploaded and submitted by the designer for your review and approval.
