Providing feedback in an honest, clear and specific way can drastically reduce rounds of revisions, help complete a design project much sooner and drastically improve brand design consistency. We encourage customers to share feedback with our team so that we can clearly understand where improvements have to be made and, most importantly, meet expectations.

The following are some of the best ways to provide effective feedback. Say goodbye to multiple rounds of revisions!

1. Review Designs With the Feedback Tool

Using the feedback tool is the easiest and most simple way to review graphic, video, and PDF design files. All you have to do is select the part of the design you'd like to edit and add a comment to let us know what change needs to be made. In video designs you can also select the exact timecode to make your feedback that much clearer.

Your feedback will be shared with the team much more efficiently, helping reduce rounds of revisions and improve turnaround times. As the team works on the design, they will check off each item to be edited. Once the designers have checked off all items, no new annotations can be added to the design.

2. Use Screen Recordings

We highly encourage using Loom or other screen recording tools when providing feedback to our designers. Screen recordings make it easier to communicate your thoughts, you can speak, point, and visually explain any changes or ideas that might be hard to describe in writing.

You can easily share your Loom videos directly in the feedback tool on the platform, keeping everything in one place for your design team to review.

3. Provide References or Examples

If a design isn't going in the right direction, we'd greatly benefit from seeing a couple of references or examples for inspiration. Doing so will help the team understand what you have in mind.

4. Report an Issue in Open Requests

Submitting an issue report in an open request will help tackle issues sooner and minimize the need for further revisions. To submit a report all you have to do is open a design request, go to the Menu section beside "Complete" button, and select the "Having problems?" option. You'll see a pop-up with a couple of options to select from as well as a section to add more information. Additional feedback is always appreciated and will help our team find the best solution for you in the shortest time possible.

5. Share Your Feedback in Completed Requests

When a request is marked complete you will be asked to provide feedback. Your insights help keep our team informed as well as find areas where we can improve on. If you leave a neutral or poor feedback, you can list the reasons why you consider the project unsatisfactory. If you leave a good feedback, you are more than welcome to let us know what you liked about the project. You will be able to find all your designs with a good rating in brand profile > approved requests.
