When submitting a creative request, you might wonder which assets we can (and can’t) download, especially if they’re hosted on platforms like YouTube, Instagram, or other websites.
To make the process smooth, safe, and legally compliant for everyone, here’s a quick breakdown of our guidelines and best practices for providing assets to our design team.
What We Can Download
We can download assets from:
Official websites or brand-owned pages with built-in download buttons
Links you provide us that lead directly to downloadable files
File-sharing platforms like Google Drive, Dropbox, or WeTransfer
The key is that the file must be intentionally shared and be clearly authorized by you.
What We Avoid Downloading Ourselves
We avoid downloading content from:
Sites like YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, etc.
Any platform that doesn’t offer a built-in download option
Any content that would require us to use third-party tools like 4K Downloader or browser extensions
Even it’s your own account or channel, downloading it through third-party tools can violate platform terms of service or fall into copyright gray areas. To avoid any legal or compliance issues, we steer clear of this.
Why We Do It This Way
It’s about protecting both your brand and ours. Even if you own the rights, using unauthorized tools to download content can still violate platform terms.
To stay compliant:
Upload assets directly to your request
Share via a trusted file-sharing service
Provide a public download link from an approved source
Access to Licensed Stock Assets
To make things easier, we maintain licenses with top providers at no additional cost to you, ensuring your designs are high-quality and legally compliant.
Our designers can source from:
Vecteezy (Vectors)
Storyblocks (Video & Music)
Industry-Specific Assets
While we have a strong stock library, some industries may have limited or highly specialized imagery available. For example, certain healthcare, manufacturing, or local service visuals may be difficult to source or require specific brand imagery.
If you work in such a niche, providing your own relevant assets and reference materials upfront will help us create more accurate, on-brand, and effective designs.
Providing Your Own Assets
You’re welcome to provide your own assets. Just be responsible for ensuring they are properly licensed and are of sufficient quality for professional use. High-resolution, professional-quality files will help our team deliver the best results.
