Keeping your files organized is one of the simplest ways to boost productivity and ensure a smooth design process. Whether you’re using Google Drive, Dropbox, or another file-sharing platform, taking a few extra minutes to organize your assets before submitting them can make a big difference. It helps our team process your design requests faster and ensures nothing important gets missed along the way.
Here are some tips to help you organize files effectively:
Create a Project Folder: Start by creating a dedicated folder and naming it after your project.
Subfolders for Media Types: Within your project folder, create subfolders for each media type, such as "Images," "Videos," and "Audio."
Naming Conventions: Create an easy-to-follow file naming system that includes details about the file's context for quick identification and sorting. For example, "UGC 1 - CTA.mp4"
Perform Cleanups: If you'll use the same folders and files for multiple projects, regularly clean up outdated files. Remove files you don't want the design team to use anymore, especially if they have old info or style. You can either delete them or store them in your own computer for safekeeping.
Preparing Your Design Files for Editing
If you have a design file from your team or a previous project created outside of NoLimit Creatives (such as .PSD, .AI, .PRPROJ, .AEP, etc.), please be sure to gather all related files and assets used in the design before submitting your request.
Providing complete files helps our team start your project right away and prevents any delays caused by missing assets. This ensures we can deliver the best possible results, quickly and seamlessly.
