We know how important it is to keep collaboration simple and have a straightforward way to review and share your files. That’s why we built Google Drive Sync with My Files. This feature lets you seamlessly connect your Google Drive account with My Files, keeping everything synced, organized, and always up to date, so you can manage all your assets in one place with ease.

How to sync Google Drive with My Files

Syncing your Google Drive with My Files is quick and simple. Just follow these steps:

  1. From your dashboard, open the left-hand menu and select My Files.

  2. On the right side of the screen, you’ll see the option to Sync with Google Drive. Click it to get started.

  3. You’ll be redirected to the Google sign-in page. Choose the Google account you’d like to connect and click Allow.

  4. Once the connection is complete, you’ll be taken back to your NoLimit dashboard.

  5. Return to My Files and you’ll see that Google Drive Sync is now enabled.

  6. Click the sync option to open Google Drive, where you’ll find a dedicated NoLimit Creatives folder containing your synced files.

Please note: Files synced to Google Drive follow the same naming convention used in My Files, with versioning automatically added at the beginning of the file name.

For example, a file named 1-1080x1080.png in My Files will appear in Google Drive as v1-1-1080x1080.png.

That’s it! Your files are now connected and ready to stay organized.

Keep in mind

  • Once Google Drive is connected, any new files uploaded to My Files will also be copied to your Google Drive automatically.

  • During the initial sync, copying existing files may take some time. We recommend allowing up to 24 hours for all files to appear in your Google Drive.

  • After the first sync is complete, newly uploaded files will continue syncing automatically going forward.

  • You may notice a short delay before files appear in Google Drive, especially for larger file sizes.

  • This feature is currently available only for Customer Owners.

Benefits

Here’s how Google Drive Sync helps you work smarter:

  • Save time: Access and manage your files without jumping between tools.

  • Stay organized: Keep everything aligned and easy to find.

  • Always up to date: Ensure you’re working with the latest version of your files.

  • Simpler collaboration: Keep shared files consistent across your workflow.

Whether you’re handling multiple projects or just want a cleaner setup, this integration helps keep things running smoothly.

What happens to my Sync files if I cancel my NoLimit subscription?

The files will remain in your Google Drive folder. Once My Files is synced to your GDrive, the files will remain in your Google Drive for you to manage. Changes in My Files will not affect the files in your Google Drive. Example - deleting files in My Files will not delete files from your connected Google Drive.

When you cancel, whatever files were uploaded in GDrive will remain there until you decide to delete them on your end.

What happens to files added before syncing?

All files from requests created up to 6 months before sync date will be transferred on the first sync with Google Drive.

What happens if I sync and un-sync my google drive?

If your folder still exists in your Google Drive, it will only place missing files there (like a re-sync). If you deleted the folder, or the file in your Google Drive, all files will be synced again. If you disconnect and connect to another/different google account, all files will be sent to the new account.

Pro tip: Syncing My Files with Google Drive helps streamline your workflow and keep everything organized in one place. If you ever need guidance or have questions, our Customer Success team is always happy to help.

✨Coming Soon for Everyone!

The feature will be available to all our customers in early January 2026, stay tuned!
