Designing a logo is an exciting process, and having a clear workflow makes it smooth and successful. This guide walks you through our workflow so you always know what to expect from start to finish.

1. Submitting Your Logo Request

Everything begins with your brief. A thoughtful and detailed brief is the foundation of a great logo. The more clearly you explain your needs, the easier it is for our designers to deliver exactly what you envision. Find a detailed guide on How to Brief Your Branding Request Like a Pro.

Your brief can take one of two directions:

○ When the brief must be followed exactly

If you have specific requirements, include them as clearly as possible. For example:

  • Provide exact colors using HEX, RGB, or CMYK values

  • Attach sketches or mockups in any image format

  • Share the exact font you want to use

  • Specify layout or style preferences

If a paid font is required, you will need to provide the file, since we cannot distribute licensed fonts.

○ When you want creative freedom

If you prefer to explore ideas, visual references are very helpful. Sharing logos or styles you like gives the designer a sense of your taste and direction. These references are never copied, they simply guide the creative process.

You can also include optional suggestions about colors, typography, or mood, and the designer will propose concepts based on their expertise.

Best Practices for a Strong Brief

No matter which approach you choose, these details always help:

  • A short description of your industry and brand

  • Information about your target audience

  • Preferred logo type: typographic, symbol, or combination

  • Style direction such as minimalist, illustrative, abstract, or figurative

  • Required sizes or file formats

All logos are created as vector files using Adobe Illustrator to ensure the highest quality and flexibility.

2. Task Review and Assignment

Once you submit your request, our Team Leader reviews it to confirm everything is clear and complete. If there are questions or points to clarify, our Team Lead will reach out via the request’s comments. Once everything is clear:

  • A designer is assigned

  • A due date is set

  • Work begins based on your brief

You can always check estimated delivery times in Turnaround Times for Branding & Logo Requests On the due date, you will receive three logo proposals created specifically for your brand.

3. Review and Revisions

After receiving the proposals, you can select the option you like best and request adjustments.

For the most effective feedback:

  • Use the platform Feedback Tool

  • Add notes directly on the design

  • Be clear and specific about changes. Visit The Power of Feedback for useful tips about providing feedback to your designs.

Small revisions are often completed the same day.

Important Note: If none of the proposals meet your expectations, you can request a new round. In that case, we recommend updating the brief with more detail and providing honest, focused feedback. A new due date will be assigned for the updated designs.

4. Final Files Delivery

When you approve a logo version, the designer prepares the final files. Standard delivery includes:

AI, SVG, EPS, PDF, JPG, and PNG formats.

If you need specific formats only, or have special requirements, let us know before the export stage.

Final files are usually delivered the same day the task is approved. Once you confirm everything looks good, the request is marked as complete and your logo is ready to use.
