When you submit a design request, the tools our team uses to bring it to life depend on the type of design you need. Different capabilities call for different software, and that matters when it comes to the files you receive.

This guide gives you a clear picture of which tools are used for each capability category, what file formats you can expect as deliverables, and how to use the File Type field to request the source files you need:

Use the File Type Field for Source Files

Here's something many clients don't realize: the File Type field on your request creation process isn't just for final output formats like PNG or MP4. You can also use it to request the source file, the editable or you can request deliverable file types as well as source files.

This is especially useful if you:

• Want to make edits yourself down the line

• Have an in-house team that works in a specific tool

• Need to hand off files to a developer or printer who requires source formats

• Want to repurpose the design in the future without starting from scratch

Source Files You Can Request

Simply add any of the following to the File Type field on your request, alongside (or instead of) your final output format:
