The drag-and-drop queue management feature is designed for intuitive functionality, allowing you to effortlessly manage your design queue by placing priority requests at the top of the list.

Updated Prioritization & Queue Management

Key Benefits:

  • Intuitive Drag-and-Drop Interface: Easily prioritize and reorder your tasks.

  • Enhanced Visibility: Track the status of your requests and manage your workload effectively.

  • Increased Efficiency: Minimize delays and ensure timely completion of your projects.

You can now reorder the request queue by priority by simply dragging and dropping the request up and down the list. The request placed at the top is automatically given the highest priority and scheduled first as soon as an active slot is available, ensuring that important tasks will be addressed and delivered promptly.

If priorities shift or changes are needed, you can simply adjust the queue by dragging and dropping requests to new positions. This functionality makes task management more intuitive, efficient, and flexible, allowing for real-time adjustments and clear visual organization of tasks.

Updated Request Flow

Creating new request

Once a request is created, you will be redirected to the Queued page. This will allow you to rearrange your queued request as needed, based on the priority of your requirements. As soon as the request is processed and labeled In Queue, you will be able to organize it in your design queue.

Reopening or resuming a request

You will be able to access the queue from the new "Manage my queue" prompt as soon as a request is reopened. When a request is reopened or resumed and added to the queue, the request will be placed at the bottom of the queue. You can then rearrange the queue order, based on the priority of your requirements by dragging and dropping items within the design queue.

FAQs

What will happen with requests I had labeled high priority?

The priority label has been removed so that requests can be organized manually using the drag and drop feature in the queue. Requests that were previously set to High priority will be placed at the top of the queue and ordered by date of submission - oldest high priority will be placed at the top most of the Queued list. Normal priority requests will be placed below.

You can reorganize your list by dragging and dropping priority requests at the top of your list to be worked on as soon as an active slot is available.

What happens if I need to Prioritize a request that is being processed?

You can add a comment in the request to inform the Design lead and have them organize upcoming requests accordingly. For larger projects, we recommend indicating a deadline as you create the request so that the team can align with your expectations from the get go.

Why can't I drag and drop/reorder my queued requests?

We have limited the access of the drag and drop function for Account Collaborators as they will have access to specific brands and requests. If you require a request to be prioritized, kindly inform the Design Lead.

How can I remove a request from the queue?

If you need to free up a place in your queue you can complete or pause the request.
