Prioritizing Urgent Requests

When you have a high-priority request or urgent revision that requires immediate attention, we want to make it easy to prioritize requests so that you can get the fastest turnaround times for your most time-sensitive projects.

Here’s how you can effectively manage urgent requests and ensure that they are handled promptly.

1. Reorder Your Requests in the Queue

An easy way to prioritize an urgent request is by drag and dropping the request to the top of your queued request list. Requests at the top of the Queued list are given the highest priority and will be scheduled first once there is an available active slot.

You can manage your Queued Requests by:

  • Heading over to the Queued request tab in your platform

  • Select the request you would like to prioritize

  • And simply drag and drop the urgent request to the top of the Queued list

2. Clearly Mark Urgent Requests

When submitting a high-priority request, include the word "Urgent" in the Request Name, or add a note about the urgency in the request description. This makes the request immediately noticeable for the team, quickly identifying which requests need to be handled first.

For example:

  • Request Name: Urgent: Project XYZ needed for Tomorrow

  • Request Description: This is an urgent request. Please prioritize it as the client is expecting delivery within the next 24 hours.

3. Notify the Team Directly

You can also leave a comment in the request and tag the Design Lead assigned to the request to notify the team of the urgency. This helps draw the Design Lead's attention to your request, guiding them to schedule and prioritize your request accordingly.

For example, you can add a note in the comment section such as:

  • “Hi @designlead, this request is urgent and needs to be completed ASAP.”

  • “Please prioritize this above all other requests, due to an upcoming deadline.”

The more specific you can be about the urgency, the better. If there’s a fixed deadline for your urgent request, make sure it’s clearly stated in both the request description and any communication with the team, so they may be aware of your needs and can plan accordingly.

By following these tips, you'll be able to efficiently manage your urgent requests and ensure they’re prioritized according to your needs.
