The new dynamic active slot logic aims to streamline and enhance your request management experience in the platform by unifying Graphics and Video requests into a single list - no more sorting through separate lists.

Unifying the request lists into a single, cohesive queue also improves the the queue automation, considering the graphic and video queue as one. As soon as an active slot is available, the request at the top of the queue will be scheduled and worked on, giving you total control of your queue and giving you the power to decided how active slots are used. We recommend reading more about how to manage the design queue.

Enhanced request lifecycle

Whenever a request is being actively worked on or is pending review, the request will occupy an active slot, staying on your radar for easier access and improved visibility.

Once the request is approved and marked complete, it will release the active slot for your next queued request to be worked on. You can also leverage the pause and resume functionality to keep the queue moving forward.

FAQs

How can I control how my active slots are used?

Active slots will be occupied based on how the design queue is prioritized, no matter if its graphics or video. For example: If you'd like to have your graphic design requests worked on before a video request, simply bump the graphic design requests to the top of the list. As those are completed, your video request will move to the top of the queue and to be worked on next. We recommend learning more about how to manage your design queue.

I need work done on a queued request ASAP. How can I free up an active slot?

You can complete or pause requests that are currently being worked on or pending review. As soon as a request is completed or paused, an active slot will be released so that the request at the top of the queue is scheduled and worked on.

How do I know if a request is occupying an active slot?

A request is considered active if it is labeled as: Design in Progress, Scheduling, Being Revised, Ready for Review, Awaiting Response. We recommend learning more about how status tags work.
