A well-built brand profile means better results. The Brands page lets you share everything our team needs to know, from visual identity and guidelines to tone and preferences, so every deliverable is aligned with your vision from the start.

Pro Tip: Don't have a logo, or planning to rebrand? Submit a request for our brand team to begin building your brand!

Here's a complete walk through of how the Brands page works.

Creating a New Brand

From the main navigation, select Brands in the left-hand menu. Once on the Brands page, click + New Brand in the top-right corner. This will open the Create Brand modal, where you'll complete two steps.

Step 1 – Brand Details

  • Logo – Upload your brand logo in PNG or JPG format (up to 10MB). This will serve as the brand avatar for easy identification of your brands.

  • Brand Name (required) – Enter the name of your brand.

  • Website (optional) – While not mandatory, adding your website helps our team gather additional context about your brand. We recommend including it. No website yet? Let us help you build one that represents your brand the right way. Explore our Website & UI services.

Once you've filled in the details, click Continue.

Step 2 – Brand Guidelines

You'll be prompted to upload a brand guidelines document. You can drag and drop or browse to upload a file in PDF format (up to 200MB). If you don't have a guidelines document ready, you can skip this step.

Click Continue to finalize the setup. The system will automatically pull information from your website and guidelines document to build your brand profile. When both sources are available, the brand guidelines will take priority, as they typically contain the most specific and complete information about your brand.

⏱️ Heads up: Brand creation typically takes between 20 seconds and 2 minutes. The system will use your website and brand guidelines to build your profile automatically, good things take a moment.

Your Brand Profile

Once the brand is created, you'll be taken to the Brand Profile, which is organized into the following tabs: Brand Overview, Requests, and Knowledge.

Brand Overview

This tab is divided into several sections, each designed to capture a different aspect of your brand identity:

Details: Displays core information: Brand Name, Website, Industry, and Audience.

Keywords: Keywords are automatically extracted from your brand guidelines and website. You can edit them at any time, when adding keywords manually, separate each one with a comma or by pressing Enter.

Description: A summary pulled from your brand guidelines. This field is fully editable and can be updated at any time.

Social Links: Social media links are extracted from your guidelines or website. To add a new link, paste the URL into the Add Links field and click the + icon next to the type selector. The platform type will be identified automatically. You can also remove links as needed.

Color Palette: If your guidelines include color information, your palette will be pre-populated here. To make changes, click Edit to open the Color Palette modal, where you can add, edit, or remove colors. Each color includes a Purpose field, which lets you specify how and when that color should be used. Be sure to click Save Changes when you're done.

Typography: Like the color palette, this section is populated from your guidelines. Click Edit to add, update, or remove fonts. You can select from the list of Google fonts that are available for commercial use, or you can also upload custom font files. The Hierarchy field allows you to indicate how each typeface should be applied across different design content types.

Assets: Upload any brand assets you'd like to make available to the team. You can also attach links to external resources.

Requests

This tab displays all requests associated with the brand. Use the filters to view requests by status: All Requests, Active, Queued, Due Today, or Approved.

Knowledge

The Knowledge tab is where you can add specific notes and guidelines for your brand. Your team will have direct access to these notes to ensure they follow your direction accurately. Notes are organized into three categories:

  • Requirements – Non-negotiable rules or standards for the brand.

  • Preferences – Stylistic preferences or recommendations.

  • Context & References – Background information, inspiration, or reference materials.

What's Coming Next! This is just the beginning. We have more improvements on the way for the Brands page, all designed to give your team an even clearer picture of your brand and help every deliverable hit the mark.
